ABSENT: Copyright Cases (1)

I read about the copyright case involving the corporation Target and Modern Dog. Modern Dog had created some artwork featuring many different breeds of dogs. Target had created a t – shirt featuring some of these dogs matching the artwork. There have been no official decisions made on the lawsuit. I believe that Target should have asked permission (it was not stated if they did). With proper consent, the image should have been used, with a small Modern Dog logo in the bottom corner. Something significant is the fact that Target is a major scale brand dealing with a smaller scale brand.

(Pyle, I am just doing the first article, because I am not sure how far the class got on this!)

Final Blog Post Q3

  1. Which has been your favorite assignment or part of class so far? – MY favorite assignment was the google forms assignment. I really enjoyed creating and taking quizzes.
  2. Which part of class have you not enjoyed? – I didn’t enjoy the sheets assignments. Those were kind of tricky to take hold on.
  3. Is there anything you wish we had spent more time on? – I wish we could have spent more time on slides and forms. I would have liked to do more assignments with those.
  4. Is there anything business related that you would really like us to spend some time on next quarter? – Graphic design and ads would be pretty cool to create.

I read an article about product placement. High cost placement is when a company pays a lot of money to have their product highlighted a lot more than other companies. Also, product placement spending has reached about $11.44 billion for a movie. More information about product placement can be found in the article below.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGLE EARTH

I did a voyage on Google Earth. I decided to go to Copenhagen, Denmark – specifically Tivoli Gardens. The Tivoli Gardens are an amusement park in Denmark, where I have been twice. The place is pretty cool, and they have a Build A Bear, which is where I spent all of my krones. The park has many things to do, such as eat good Danish food, roller coasters, and photo opportunities.

The park brought back family memories, since a majority of my family is Scandinavian. The park is a great place to go on a day where the sun is up for 24 hours. I personally would like to go back because I will enjoy the bigger rides. It is a great place for family fun in the sun, of course, when it is not cloudy. Then, it is fun in the clouds.
